Gedser Yachtharbour

Gedser Yachtharbour on the southern tip of Falster

Gedser Yachtharbour lies on the southern most point of Denmark, easy to approach – directly from the Baltic Sea. The clean air and pristine nature make the surroundings a true gem, with no less than 25km of sandy beaches. Gedser Marina is a modern harbour, and has a large new activity area for families with children, several barbeque areas, and restaurants. Here you can enjoy the view of the offshore windmills, the horizon and the sunset.

The Boat Guild’s clubhouse with the sailors’ lounge is open for visiting sailors during daytime in the summer season. From here you have a beautiful view of the harbour and the Baltic Sea. Centrally situated on the harbour is the restaurant Najaden, a family restaurant in a very pleasant setting.  Near the harbour you will also find convenient shopping possibilities.

In 2012, the harbour was certified IMCI (International Marine Certification Institute in Brussels) as one of the first harbours in Denmark and received 4 out of 5 possible stars. The harbour lies close to the ferry to Germany and near the highway to Copenhagen, and is thus an ideal meeting point, in case the crew is exchanged.

Gedser yachtharbour is the home of the Sydfalster Boat Guild.
