Aalborg Yacht Harbour – a Central Marina in the Limfjord
Close to Aalborg center are Aalborg marinas. The harbor is divided between two clubs Sejlklubben Limfjorden and Vestre Baadelaug. Both have berths in the two harbor sections, Vestre Boat Harbor and Skudehavnen. Guests are welcome in everywhere where the square is marked with a green sign. Here is a maritime and cozy atmosphere in a lovely, out-of-town harbor with the right service facilities, as well as restaurants on the harbor quay. Guest sailors are free to use all facilities such as kitchen, terraces and barbecue areas. The supermarket is close by and there is a boat equipment shop and shipyard.
Aalborg marinas are located by one of Denmark's largest cities, and here is plenty to look at and plenty of opportunities. In the harbors are three restaurants as well as Streetfood. Close to the harbor is Fjordparken, which is the city's new outdoor swimming pool, with a spring tower, children's area, barbecue areas, beach volleyball courts and an outdoor park course.
A walk along the fjord is in itself an experience, and leads east to the city center with pedestrian street, Jomfru Ane Gade and an abundance of shops and restaurants.
Many foreign sailors like the location near Aalborg Airport, the motorway and the railway network.
