The brand new Udbyhøj Marina is situated on the north side of the mouth of Randers Fjord in a large bird sanctuary. Now we have nearly said it all: Do you love nature, fishing on the fjord and do you enjoy peace and quiet, then Udbyhøj is an ideal destination for your next journey.
The next-door neighbor is a child friendly bathing beach, which even received the Blue Flag for its excellent water quality. Additionally, at Udbyhøj Marina we strive to offer families with children a little extra. For example, we are currently creating a maritime playground for those who wish to go exploring with their bucket and net. More projects are on the way, so keep posted here on the web site.
The marina lies just outside Udbyhøj, a town divided by the fjord and connected with a cable ferry, which is operated as needed. In the past this was an important winter harbor for Randers and the pilot boat still has its permanent berth here. Shopping options are good and a camping site is near by, where you can rent a boat for fishing, use the playground or play a round of mini gold. If you want to continue your journey up the fjord to Randers, you will be able to cover the stretch in only three hours in a beautiful scenery, where there is plenty to look at while you pass
various smaller marinas on the way.
