Soeby Harbour on Aeroe – A Marina in the South Funen Archipelago
On the north-western tip of Aeroe lies Soeby Harbour, the town’s focal point for both residents and guests. The harbour is surrounded by wonderful nature, a nice bathing beach and it offers summer activities such as a playground and mini golf.
Visiting sailors can enjoy a modern marina with barbeque areas with tables and benches, as well as clean and well-kept bathroom facilities in a hospitable harbour. From the harbour’s restaurant you can enjoy a stunning view of the South Funen Archipelago.
In town you will find many great shopping opportunities, pubs and inns.
Close to town lies Europe’s most beautiful seaside golf course. Anglers have good chances at catching sea trout from coastal sites close to the harbour. There are scenic hiking trails, among others to the nature reserve Vitsø. And if you wish to explore Marstal and Ærøskøbing, busses on Ærø are free.
