Bakkerne Harbour
Small private harbour with active commercial fishery and a water depth of only one metro. The harbour is usually filled with local boats, but in good weather a few smaller boats can visit this small fishing hamlet, which has an active herring smokehouse (also a restaurant), bicycles for hire, crazy golf, etc.

The mouth of Øle Stream is 300 metros east of the harbour, and following the stream 300 metres inland brings you to an interesting area with the island’s largest former sea-trout hatchery and a splendid watermill.
Nearby, a block of granite marks the intersection of 55°N and 15°E – at the very centre of the European Central Time Zone.
